Welcome to NOVELTEASE!
NovelTease is the show creation of Burlesque Stripteaser Lolita Haze. 2005 originally had the show under the name Lolly's Follies, but in 2008 Lolita found herself inspired to create a continuous variety showcase based on the New York shows she had the honour of performing in during a brief visit to the Big Apple in 2007. Her goal was to put together a short program showcasing local Arizona talent of the lost performance arts. Each month she would bring together the best Burlesque dancers, belly dancers, jugglers, singers, comedians, and various other performers so that they could showcase their talents.
In 2011 Lolita, now in Kenosha, Wisconsin, has teamed up with her best friend RiRi Syn Cyr from Albuquerque, NM to bring back NovelTease to entertain audiences in both Wisconsin and New Mexico.
Red Hot Annie - She makes the wieners boil!
Chicago, IL
Bio:
Drawing on over a decade of performance background, Red Hot Annie turned her attentions to burlesque in early 2008. Over 350 performances later, her special blend of candid comedy, shameless sexuality, and character-driven storytelling has made her one of the most recognizable and visible faces in Chicago. Whether she's painting, sweeping a set of luxury feather fan through the air, or gleefully twirling a pair of tasseled pasties, Red Hot Annie's sure to make the wieners boil!
In July 2008, Red Hot Annie paired up with Dick Dijon to form Vaudezilla, a production company that has become a major force in Chicago by redefining the burlesque bar show and setting a new standard for burlesque variety shows. Always looking to branch out, Red Hot Annie began teaching burlesque in 2009 and currently teaches basic, intermediate, and semi-private classes at Vaudezilla Studios. She also serves as one of the Executive Producers of the Windy City Burlesque Fest since its inception in 2010.
Red Hot Annie’s impact in Chicago is undeniable, as evidenced by her numerous interviews (TimeOut Chicago, The Chicago Reader) and her appearances on Check Please, WGN radio, WCIU television, and – along with Vaudezilla - as the subjects of a recently completed documentary film, entitled "What a Tease!" She has also begun to make waves on the international burlesque scene, having been voted #34 in the Burlesque Top 50 for 2010.
